On Thursday, March 4 1-2 pm, Seniors and any other area residents are invited to a monthly 1-hour get-together with Prince George's County Police District VI Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) officers, with coffee, tea and light refreshments, on the first Thursday of each month at the Police District VI satellite office at 13310 Laurel-Bowie Rd, at Contee Rd, near the McDonalds and next door to Sapphire Indian & Thai restaurant.
At this month's meeting, a local Firefighter will give a presentation on fire safety at home, including how to safely get out of a burning dwelling, followed by discussion about this and other matters.
