Mayor Craig A. Moe is pleased to announce that the City of Laurel can be found on Facebook and Twitter, beginning February 1, 2011.
The City has created an informational page on Facebook. The City will post event notices, emergency advisories, and informational items on Facebook that are relevant for residents living in and around the Laurel area. A Twitter account has also been created to enable City departments to Tweet to registered participants about road closures, emergency information and City information instantaneously. If you would like to register to receive the City’s Tweets, please go to this link, http://twitter.com/
Mayor Moe is pleased to add Facebook and Twitter to Laurel’s “Government to the People” program. He said he looks forward to providing another opportunity to keep residents aware of what’s occurring in the City of Laurel.
