Laurel Mayor Craig A. Moe has announced that the Laurel Police will hold an Abandoned and Unclaimed Property Public Sale on Saturday, June 30 beginning at 8:00am at Partnership Hall located at 811 Fifth Street.
Property that has been held in the custody of the property custodian of the Laurel City Police Department for more than ninety (90) days and having been determined to be either abandoned or unclaimed can be disposed of by the Laurel Police Department in a public sale.
All property being disposed of will be sold “AS IS” and the purchaser will assume ownership upon payment as accepted by the seller and a receipt will be issued thereof by the Finance Department of the City of Laurel.
Neither the Mayor and City Council, the Laurel City Police Department, its officers, agents and employees assume liability here and now or in the future from any civil action that may arise. All purchases must be made in cash and all property purchased must be removed promptly from the premises and building at the conclusion of the sale.
