2013.02.17 CORRECTION -- A February 12 Prince George's County Press Release says the county will  pick up trash on Monday February 18
According to the following February 12 Press Release, Prince George's County WILL pick up trash on Monday, February 18 (President's Day holiday) -- which is contrary to what i was explicitly told when i phoned Prince George's Waste Management Division staff on February 15 at (301) 952-7630

Prince George's County Government Announces
 the Holiday Schedule for Presidents' Day

Prince George’s County government offices will be closed on Monday, February 18, 2013 in observance of Presidents’ Day, and all waste management facilities and collections will be open and operate on a normal schedule on Monday, February 18

LARGO, MD - The Department of Environmental Resources (DER) announces that the Brown Station Road Sanitary Landfill and all waste management services and facilities, including recycling, yard waste, bulkytrash and refuse collection, will operate on a regular schedule on Monday,February 18, 2013.  For more information, please call DER’s Waste Management Division at (301) 952-7630.

Prince George’s County’s TheBus will provide normal service on all routes, excluding Routes 51, 51 Extended and 52, on Monday, February 18, 2013.  Prince George’s County’s Call-A-Bus, including senior transportation services, will not be operational on Monday, February 18.  Normal route services will resume on Tuesday, February 19, 2013.

According County Refuse Collection staff at (301) 952-7630 there is NO regular trash collection on Monday, Feb 18, due to the President's day holiday, despite that holiday not being listed on their web page as a no trash collection day.
