"At about 3:30am on 02-02-13, police responded to a report of a shooting/robbery at the 11400blk of Laurel-Bowie road [map]. Once on the scene, officers observed people fleeing from the location of incident. The victim was located suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his arm. The victim advised that he was confronted by two suspects (B/M’s) who attempted to rob him of his property. The victim suffered his injuries during a struggle over his property. Both suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction, without obtaining any property. The victim was treated at a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries. There is no further description or details at this time. This appears to be an incident that was specifically targeted and not a random act."
