WASHINGTON, DC - Today, the Foundation for Advancing Alcohol Responsibility (Responsibility.org), a national not-for-profit organization funded by distillers dedicated to fighting
drunk driving and underage drinking, recognized Delegate Geraldine Valentino-Smith (D-MD, District 23 A) with its 2014 Leadership Award.During her tenure in the Maryland House of

Delegate Valentino-Smith sponsored House Bill 957, which was enacted into law and supported by Responsibility.org. House Bill 957 enhances penalties for a 3'd and subsequent DUI offense where

"Delegate Valentino-Smith has been a tireless advocate for the people of District 23 A in Maryland" said Ralph Blackman, President and CEO of the Foundation for Advancing Alcohol Responsibility. "During her time in the House of Delegates, she has made it clear that preventing drunk driving on Maryland's roads is a critical issue.
